Your Entire Family May Be Eligible

As an active member of a participating APSIT sponsoring organization, you and your spouse are eligible to apply for coverage as long as you are both under the age of 60. In addition, your unmarried dependent children may also be eligible for coverage provided they are at least 14 days old and under the age of 23 (25 if full-time students).
If both you and your spouse apply as a member, however, only one of you may request coverage for your children. Spousal coverage cannot exceed your coverage amount and is available in amounts ranging from $100,000 to $750,000 and may be purchased in $10,000 increments. Dependent child coverage is limited to $10,000 per child ($1,000 for children ages 14 days to six months).
